In the marketplace, creating a shop and offering as many products as you like is free of charge.
dincy.net is a marketplace and community for professional users and creators of software (+plugins, libraries, services, etc.) in the fields of CAD, CAM, design and production. It helps you to get more out of your software and to perfect the application. Here, everything revolves around the software you use!
dincy establishes all references via the software used. In this way, products, cooperation partners or job offers can be found in a targeted manner.
Costs arise when a product is sold in the marketplace. Then the operator takes a commission from the provider according to the price list. This only applies to sellers.
Buyers only incur the costs that are stated as the selling price when they buy a product.
Marketplace
A bookable product is intended for services that can be scheduled and booked via a calendar.
The buyer can look for a free date in a calendar and book a service.
Example: Bookable one-day workshop/webinar with participant limit of 10 persons on 2 different dates
Only the necessary fields are described.
- Shop Manager -> Products -> Add New
- Selection list “Bookable product” with the options “Has persons” and “Virtual”. Leave the other options switched off.
- Enter Product Title
- Right of the title you can upload the product image preferably with 400×300 pixels.
- Below this, be sure to specify one or more categories, as well as a few keywords for the search engines further down.
- Enter “Short Description” and “Description”
- Subitem “Booking options” -> Set booking duration to fixed units of 1 day
- Subitem “Properties” -> Specify language and type of product
- Sub-item “Availability” -> “Minimum number of units” determines how much lead time is required for the booking.
- Sub-item “Availability” -> “Maximum number of units” defines how far in advance booking is possible
- Subitem “Availability” -> “All data are…” set to “not available by default”.
- Subitem “Availability” / “Rules” -> Set “Type” to “Date from-to”, set “From” and “To” to the same date and thus determine the specific day.
- Subitem “Availability” / “Rules” -> Set “Bookable” to “Yes”
- Another rule for a date can be added via the small “+” sign on the right-hand side
- Subitem “Costs” -> “Set price per unit” (i.e. per participant)
- Subitem “Number of participants” -> Set minimum (1) and maximum number of participants (10)
- Sub-item “Number of persons” -> “Multiply prices by number of persons” checkbox
- Subitem “YOAST SEO” is optional, but recommended
- Under “Toolset Woocommerce”, be sure to tick “Virtual” and enter a unique article number under “SKU”.
- Subitem “Product Policies” -> under “Policy Tab Label” -> enter “GTC” and either copy or link the GTC in the text fields below. Please note that there is a customisable sample GTC (in German) in the Buhren-Consulting shop that you can use.
- At the bottom there are the buttons “DRAFT” and “SUBMIT”. “DRAFT” saves the article as a draft and does not publish it yet. “SUBMIT” publishes the article directly.
A downloadable product automatically offers a download option after purchase.
This allows the buyer to download the purchased data package directly.

- Enter “Optional Mini Description” which will be shown in the cart
- Enter “Short Description” and “Description”
- Enter the name in the sub-item “Downloadable” below and upload the zipped file.
- Subitem “Properties” specify the language(s) and type of the product
- Subitem “YOAST SEO” is optional, but recommended
- Under “Toolset Woocommerce”, be sure to tick “Virtual” and “Downloadable”, enter the “Regular Price” again and enter a unique item number under “SKU”. The option “Sold individually” should be checked so that only one download is possible per purchase.
- Subitem “Product Policies” -> under “Policy Tab Label” -> enter “GTC” and either copy or link the GTC in the text fields below. Please note that there is a customisable sample GTC (in German) in the Buhren-Consulting shop that you can use.
- Return and cancellation conditions do not apply as digital products are delivered as soon as they are paid for. The right of return then expires.
